My name is Bev Steinfink, RN, and I am an Infant Aquatics Certifying Instructor in Dallas, TX. I became a swim instructor in 1986 after enrolling my children in lessons in a similar program. I then joined Infant Aquatics in 2002, have taught all over the Dallas Metroplex and have trained over 30 instructors as well as countless children to swim.
I am certified in adult, child, and infant CPR and first aid. I teach children with special needs, kids with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, sensory integration, and many others. My education is in nursing which goes together well with the program as it is designed to customize each lesson to each child regardless of their ability.
I attended the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Woman’s University and hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. I am a lifelong swimmer with a passion for safety and hope to teach many more children to be safe and have fun in the water with their families and friends.
Please email me today to find out how to observe lessons and sign up for the program or if you are interested in Training to become an Infant Aquatics Instructor.
