About Bridgette

Hi! My name is Bridgette (but most people call me B). My favorite job is being a wife and mom. My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we have two amazing sons. We love spending time as a family outdoors especially around water. We spend a lot of time in the pool or at the lake. My husband and I even met on the OSU Water Ski Team 20 years ago! I’ve been around water my entire life and understand the importance of water safety.

After spending 17 years in the oil & gas industry I decided to pursue something I’m passionate about and become an Infant Aquatics instructor. I was first introduced to survival swim over 7 years ago when my youngest son completed an infant survival swim program. It was an amazing experience to say the least! He received a lifelong gift, and as a parent I had peace of mind knowing if an accident happened, he knew how to respond.

I completed my Infant Aquatics Specialist training at Swim & Smile TX with Kim Emery. My training consisted of in-water hands on instruction combined with learning child development, child behavior, and child physiology and how it applies to survival swim and the learning process.

I am so happy to share this gift with others. Water safety is so very important and drowning is preventable. I would be honored to teach your child these valuable skills they will have for a lifetime, and I will provide a loving safe environment for your child to learn.
