Hello! My name is Candace Siebenmorgen and I live in Fayetteville Arkansas. I absolutely love being in the water. Growing up, I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and have spent a lot of time around swimming pools. I started lifeguarding at the age of 15 and taught stroke and basic swim lessons through college. In 2010 I met my husband, Justin, in Fayetteville where we were married and started our family. We have two children, Cooper and Lyla.
I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Infant Aquatics Network and to be able to offer survival swim lessons using SWIM-Float-SWIM in my hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Before certification, both Cooper and Lyla completed the survival program with Libby McFarland at Little Squirts Aquatics and I was incredibly impressed. They both became safe and confident swimmers by the end of the session. It was right then that I knew I wanted to be a part of this! I assisted Libby in Northwest Arkansas for a year, swimming her maintenance children and witnessed first-hand numerous infants and children learning and successfully using survival swim skills. This continued to spark a passion that led me to become a certified instructor for I wanted to become an even bigger part of such important work. These essential, lifesaving water skills are extremely valuable and I hope to reach as many children as possible in the years to come.
