About Cynthia

My name is Cynthia Forward, a former high school teacher and swimming coach.I have always loved teaching and helping others. When my first son was born, I decided to stay home to raise him. Having a pool in our backyard made my husband and I extremely anxious he would get out one day and find his way into the pool. No gates or kiddie nets were enough to ease our fear. After enrolling him in his first swim program, I quickly realized he was being taught to play in the pool and not self-rescue. When I had my second son, I enrolled both into survival lessons - and it paid off. In the unfortunate event they found themselves in the water, they would be able to float, wait for help or swim to safety.

I fell in love with this style of teaching and decided to become a survival swimming instructor myself, not only to continue teaching my kids, but to also help others around me. Infant Aquatics® has provided me with the opportunity of extensive hands-on training, experience, and confidence to help families with their survival swimming needs. I would love to be a part of your child’s learning experience and affinity for the water. I teach children as young as 6 months and up to 6 years in a loving and safe environment. Give your child the tools they need to survive an aquatic incident. Do not wait any longer. Contact me today to learn about our program and the positive impact it will have on your child’s life.
