Hi, my name is Karl Nusshag and I am originally from Media, Pennsylvania located just outside of Philadelphia. I moved to Tucson, Arizona in July 2018 with my wife Nicole and two daughters— Khloe and Kaily. Khloe completed the Infant Aquatics program with Jeffrey Nichols in Montgomery, Alabama, and Kaily participated in lessons with Judy Heumann in Longmont Colorado in 2019, while Nicole was obtaining her Infant Aquatics certification. Both girls are currently swimming on a team fostering their own love of the water. Nicole has already made an incredibly positive impact on the Tucson community, and through her passion for the children, their safety and the benefits the program offers, I too have become captivated and inspired to cultivate the work she has already set in motion.
My work experience is diverse and comprised of 20+ years with the United States Air Force as a DoD Civilian specializing in Business Operations and Community Services with an extensive portfolio in a wide range of exposure, including Food & Beverage, Lodging operations, Golf Courses, Bowling Centers, Outdoor Recreations, Fitness Centers and large scale events. I completed my Bachelors from California University of Pennsylvania with a focus towards fitness and exercise physiology and earned my Master of Arts Degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
During my time at Infant Aquatics, I've participated in the hands-on training approach, with real life situational based scenarios, that has helped me to gain the necessary skills to teach the entire Swim Float Swim program. Combining these skills with proven theoretical and science based principles creates a comprehensive methodology to develop a soundly structured program, enabling me to continue to hone these skills when I return to Tucson.
I look forward to strengthening our Aqua Baby company as I join my wife as business partners, increasing the brand with the added capabilities to meet the needs of the Tucson Community and beyond.
