Hi my name is Krystle Rose, certified Infant Aquatics Instructor and I own and operate Infant Aquatics of Lubbock.
I have lived in Lubbock most of life, married my high school sweetheart and graduated from Texas Tech in 2011 with a degree in Marketing. After that, I worked for several years for an IT and security company. I liked my job, but I cannot remember a time when I was truly excited about my work. Upon becoming an Infant Aquatics Instructor, I have been so over whelmed with emotion. I will never forget when my first student first learned how to float. I was jumping up and down and I was so immensely proud of her. That feeling of knowing that I was able to teach her the skills needed for her to not only survive in the water, but to thrive, is more than I could have ever hoped for.
Shortly after graduation my husband and I decided to start family. We now have two beautiful little boys, Tucker and Rylan. My family has always been in, near or around the water. After Tucker jumped into the pool fully clothed twice, I knew that I needed to arm him with survival skills. I was in awe of the process and immediately felt a calling to teach. I love working with children and I am so grateful that I now get to help children while also doing something that I completely love.
This program is designed to teach children how to swim and float across the pool to reach safety as well as learn to be independent in the water. We tailor each lesson to fit the child's needs in order to reach the goal of swimming and floating to get to safety. We start as young as 6 months up to 6 years old.
