About Tandi

Hi, I'm Tandi Carlile, a lifelong resident of Chickasha, Oklahoma, wife to Steve and a devoted mother to our three sons: Brayden, John Kyle, and Kingston. My love for the pool, lake, and beach has been a source of joy for myself and our family. I've made it a point to pass along this love of the water to my three boys, creating lasting memories and a shared passion for aquatic adventures.

This past summer, 2023, was particularly special as I spent extra time with my nephew, Brooks, in the pool. Teaching him the games the older kids play became a delightful experience, thanks to the excellent swim-float-swim infant aquatics training he received from a fellow IAS instructor with Lil’ Chicks SFS, Gay McRay. Witnessing Brooks confidently enjoy the pool sparked an idea – exploring the extensive training provided by the Infant Aquatics Survival program.

After thorough research, I discovered that Judy Heumann's IAS training was the perfect fit. Eager for a new adventure after spending the last 20 years as a stay-at-home mom, I dedicated the next 4 months to preparation before embarking on a 6-week, in-person training in Longmont, Colorado.

As an Infant Aquatics Instructor, I bring over 120 hours of in-pool hands-on training to my lessons. My commitment extends beyond the basics, with additional comprehensive training in child behavior, child development, anatomy and physiology, sensory integration and conditions, water safety, and more. Join me on this journey as we prioritize water safety, joy, and confidence for children in and around all water. Welcome to Tiny Turtles Infant Aquatics and Swim, I eagerly look forward to teaching your child water survival skills in weeks not years!
