About Zoe

Throughout my adulthood, I’ve volunteered to teach swimming classes and music lessons to the kids in my community. I found fulfillment in combining my love for children with teaching about water safety, and decided to pursue a certification to instruct through the local YMCA, where I also obtained my pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. During my teaching, I learned the importance of drowning prevention, and the statistics for toddlers in particular fueled my desire to ultimately commit myself to these little ones. After much research, I was led to the specialty of infant survival training with Infant Aquatics, and through their organization I met Beverly and Sarah of Dallas Infant Aquatics. I’m so excited to be joining their team!

Growing up with a huge swimming pool at our home, I feel like more than half my life was spent in the water before graduating high school. My family owned a swimming pool service company which I helped run during my teens and early 20’s. Over the next 10 years I worked my way through several different industries (swimming pools, mortgage, auto, freight, and insurance) in accounting, payroll & HR. With these business skills I was able to open my own company doing one of my passions, growing food. I pivoted from vegetable gardening to landscape irrigation and ran a small sprinkler business which our Lord blessed to be a successful venture. I now have found my true calling in infant survival swimming, and have great joy in what I’m privileged to do each day!
