My name is Jenna Hammond. I am the owner of Little Ham’s Infant Aquatics based out of a private pool in Van Alstyne, TX.
I grew up in Southern California. I was a collegiate volleyball athlete in Southern California and received my degree in Kinesiology. I continued my education in New Mexico with becoming a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I started my career in Texas in 2013 in aquatic therapy. Throughout my career, I worked with pediatrics and geriatrics. I am infant, child, and adult CPR and AED certified.
I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 1 son. With my husband’s career as a firefighter, it was very important for us to get our son into the pool and began training at 6 months old. We continued with Tracey Panzer-Michelle to learn Swim-Float-Swim when he was 18 months old. I knew when I had my son this was something I was very interested in. Thanks to the encouragement from Tracey, I was able to become an instructor with the 6-week training with Kim Emery.
I am excited to join the Infant Aquatics team. I will be working with children from 6 months to 6 years old. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with you and your child to learn the skills of Swim-Float-Swim.
